Does a web host really offer unlimited space and bandwidth?

When you are searching a web hosting plan, you will find that more and more web hosting providers are offering unlimited disk space and unlimited bandwidth with their hosting packages.
What does that mean unlimited disk space or unlimited bandwidth? Technically, there is no such unlimited thing. Every web host just has limited resources, how can they offer unlimited thing to their cusotmers? Actually, “unlimited” is just a descriptive word that web hosts use to promote their business…

However, in certain circumstances, the server processing power, server memory, or anti-abuse controls could limit downloads or access from your site…
The advertised “unlimited” doesn’t really mean unlimited.
