Just Host add on domains
Posted By CheapHostingChoice on May 21, 2009
Just Host offers unlimited add on domains with its web hosting package.
What is add on domain?
An add-on domain is a separate domain (just like having a separate website) that is hosted or pointed to a folder in your public _html folder of your primary domain. An add on domain appears as if it is hosted on its own account. The Add-on domain should be already registered and the nameservers for the add-on domain should be pointing the same nameserves as your primary domain.
If you want to addon a domain to your justhost account, please follow these steps:
First, please ensure that the name servers are pointing to Just Host name servers as following:
ns1.justhost.com: 67.212.166.234
ns2.justhost.com: 67.212.167.26
ns3.justhost.com: 67.212.167.10
Login to your Just Host cPanel account and select ‘Addon Domains’ under the ‘Domains’ menu.
Complete the form as follows:
New Domain Name: the domain you wish to add on your justhost account
Subdomain/FTP Username: Whatever you put in the this field will be the folder that is created under your primary account. It will also be the default username for mail and FTP.
Password: your password
note: normally, the change in nameservers may take up to 48 hours.
